Dinner was wonderful, Lois is such an amazing cook!  She made Tuscan Chicken from "The Barefoot Contessa," roasted tomatoes with mozzarella, and a beautiful salad.  Ken, the grill master, barbecued the chicken and some beef kabobs.  Raffi and her husband shared some great tips and brought some maps on traveling through Italy.

An adventure begins.

It is my 50th birthday and I will be celebrating with my wonderful husband, Don, in Tuscany, Italy.  We will be traveling with our  amazing friends, Lois and Ken, Leslie and Roy and Lois's sister Margie.  I can't wait.  Tonight we are getting together with a friend of Lois and Ken's who is from Milan to get the inside scoop.  We are leaving Victoria and Elizabeth home for two weeks to watch the dog and have absolutely no visitors.  Ha Ha.
